How to remove yourself from Acxiom
A marketing-data broker that compiles and sells consumer profiles to advertisers, not a public-facing search site.
Open the Acxiom opt-out page →
What you'll need
- A valid email address (Acxiom emails a confirmation you must action)
- Your name and contact details for the form
- Or a phone: (877) 774-2094 if you have no email
Steps
- Open Acxiom’s opt-out page
Go to acxiom.com/optout and choose the option for a US individual (or someone acting on another’s behalf) opting out.
- Complete the opt-out form
Provide a valid email address and your details. Acxiom is a marketing-data broker rather than a public search site, so this suppresses your profile from the data it sells to advertisers.
- Confirm by email
Acxiom emails you a confirmation. Action it (click the link or reply as instructed) to validate the request. They state it is processed within about two weeks of that confirmation. No email? Call (877) 774-2094 to opt out by phone.
Will it come back?
Acxiom states the opt-out does not remove data already provided to marketers before your request — it stops future sharing rather than clawing back what was already sold.
