Sherlock
Hunts a username across hundreds of sites.
Sherlock searches for a username across social networks from the command line: the repository page shows "sherlock user123" for one username and "sherlock user1 user2 user3" for several. Output is stored in an individual text file named for each username, and the help text lists --csv and --xlsx options for other file formats. It is released under the MIT licence.
Dual-use tool. This tool can be used for research and investigation, and also to find, track or identify people without their consent. Listing it here is not an endorsement of either use.
Privacy note. Demonstrates how far a single reused username can be traced — a practical case for per-platform aliases.
